Sharing the Gospel humbly, boldly, and passionately is our Christian mission. But we cannot do it alone. While our mission is sharing Christ, the power and results come from the Lord. He gives us the wisdom, strength, and desire to witness!
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:20
We are a Women's Missionary Group. We began our group because we wanted to Server God, our Church, and help others.
We met for the first time to form our group on July 19, 1996. This was the day the torch went thru Bartow County on it's way to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Our official meeting began Aug 8, 1996, 28 years ago! We had 8 women to attend our first meeting. Of the original 8, 4 are still attending today.
We support several organizations financially with our offering.
We also help a missionary, John Boyd with his spreading of the gospel.
We help a family at Thanksgiving and at Christmas.
We help with food at the homeless shelter in Cartersville.
There are several other projects we have helped with over these 28 years.
Our goal is to help people and spread the word of Jesus Christ. The Lord has kept us together for 28 years and we pray we will be able to reach out further in the future with God's help. We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month. Come and join us at our next meeting. From one Sister to Another.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
